We visited on cloudy, rainy day, and we were not able to see much. We did visit the observation tower overlooking the break between the ocean and the river. It was amazing, very windy, and loud.

The beach at Fort Stevens State park was nice and clean. On this trip we were only interested in seeing the ship wrecked Peter Iredale.
