Dear TripAdvisor: Unfortunately the museum was forced to close its doors forever back in October 2015 due to very minimal support from the civic, community, and corporate sectors. The vast majority of our exhibits, models, etc. were distributed to other history museums from NYC to...More

Family friendly museum, a full spectrum of ships, boats and history. We took a 9 yr old and 12 yr old, they enjoyed the boats, models and coloring. My husband really found the displays well made and very informative.

Wow! What a neat place! LOTS of ships to see and knots to try. Learned a lot as an adult. It's free, but they work/operate off donations as you exit.
