Wonderful neighborhood to drive through or walk around. Victorian homes, well kept neighborhoods, along the river.

We were so stoked to go and see The Lion King at the Times-Union center and the opportunity to stay in Riverside at a quaint air bnb cottage only extended our experience. Everything in riverside/avondale is in walking distance with so many thing to do....More

Had a terrific lunch. Visited local antique shops. Enjoyed seeing the old homes and neighborhoods. Wish we had a little more time to do some exploring.

We.stopped briefly for lunch and to visit some of the shops. Based on earlier reviews, our expectations were fairly high. We were disappointed. The "Five Corners" area we visited was a bit of a dive, with limited dining and shopping.

Hands down the best neighborhood in Jacksonville. With all the parks and paths, and sidewalks, this grid-based neighborhood makes it easy to enjoy city life. With themed events running all year long, it really is the special part of Jacksonville.

Jacksonville is beyond spread out....and this remains one of the nice historic areas to visit. Lovely homes to see with a drive-around and town has a vibe and a clustering of very good restaurants, bars and some shops to explore.

I like walk in it's streets , see their beautiful old houses of red brick with their well-kept gardens. It has special restaurants, local market, shop and arts galleries.

This area in Jacksonville FL is not only a scenic beauty but also has some really great shopping and restaurants. There are several parks along the St. John's River where you can watch boats going by and enjoy the surrounding beauty.

This area has beautiful views and great shops. It attacks some great food choices and the arts. It is quiet and quaint. Check the local calendar as there are many activities in this area.

Unwind and take a stroll through beautiful properties, go to the park and take a great view of the St. Johns River. Do some shopping at one of a kind shops and take your pick at wonderful restaurants with a great variety of food.
