Sand dunes 2 stories tall with palms growing out of them. Oak forest by the sea. So natural! The park admission is so reasonable. A great place to relax in nature.

This park located just outside the main gates of Mayport Naval Station is underused. It is a great little park offering a little of everything. They have hiking/biking trails from easy to challenging. A disc golf course. Fishing spots both fresh and salt(watch for gators...More

Pros: - It's a campsite within a two minute drive to the beach. Cons: - "Cozy cabins" is a misleading term. It is quite literally a room with four walls, two windows, an air conditioner, and a fire extinguisher. There is no table, no bedframe/bed,...More

Great options at this large park. Nice sites, heavily shaded, close to beach and a lake nearby too! Camp store is a nice touch, $1 selections of Kurig style coffees along with other essentials...Bathrooms are pretty bad, but the showers were hot.

The sights are large, and give the camper a sence of privacy. There are firerings, at each site. There are bike and hiking trails, and fishing lakes. You can also walk to the ocean. The staff is first class.
