Visiting from Midwest. Irritated to have made the trip downtown to find the Friendship Fountain turned off. No information available onsite, nor online at the city website, as to the reason this "Jacksonville Gem" was not working. Asked people in the area to no avail....More

It’s beautiful day or night. It’s a perfect area for a walk in the sun with a nice scenery. Only for those who appreciate the value of simple things.

My fiancé and I took pictures for our engagement. The scenery was beautiful and the weather was nice. Enjoyed looking at the river and the people enjoying their day. Relaxing evening.

Wonderful assortment of lights, colors and programming. Always fun to see the fountain on full display, especially at time of big events like fireworks. If downtown, its worth a trip to see it and admire the water display.

Very nice fountain. On this day the water levels were low. There was also a lot of debris and garbage in the water. Must be off season for maintenance. Please give this review a helpful vote.

I love this place. My spouse and I took our wedding pictures at this fountain. This is where we went on our first date. The view of down towns sky line is great from the fountain.

When we visited it wasn't working. I'd call jacksonville city parks and rec and find out if it's operational and reserve the time then. Keep in mind, it may be hard to hear the ceremony over the noise of the fountain if it... More
