We were welcomed on the porch by two very nice people in period garb! They were knowledgeable about the history of not only The Rupp House but any question we asked! Well worth a visit during your stay in Gettysburg!

This interactive small museum is warm and welcoming with small artifacts from the war. The narrative gives you a very good sense how the war's action had them hemmed in and the sense of being caught in the middle of battle. I found the wall...More

History of Rupp and hid his family during the war. A video, the bible they had in the house. A guide to give you some history and answer your questions. Free is the best part.

We visited the Rupp House and were greeted and absolutely entertained by Cindy, a volunteer there. Like many we encountered - she was pleasant and knowledgeable - but what really set her apart was her passion for Gettysburg and the "work" she's doing there. This...More

Stopped by after reading about the "Life of a soldier" program on a list of events going on this past weekend. Toured the house and got a seat in one of the rockers while we learned about a typical soldiers life during war time. Thanks...More

I was walking around Gettysburg and came across the Rupp Museum on a Sunday. The museum has limited hours and I made it just in time to walk around for an hour. It's a lovely museum with a welcoming staff. There are interactive displays where...More
