As you take the tour through the battlefields, you will see the High Water Mark and where the north set up against the south. Love the rich history of the civil war. Make sure you go to Little Round Top as well.

This location give a wonderful panoramic view of Pickett's Charge. The history here basically shows the high water mark of the Confederacy. I have visited this spot numerous times and always learn more by hiring a battlefield guide.

Standing at the High Water Mark/Copse of Trees and looking down toward the field where Pickett's men charged up the hill gives one an overwhelming feeling. To imagine the brave men attempting to charge Cemetery Ridge to certain annihilation is a terrifying thought.
