Very informative and great for class trips! Easy access from NJ Parkway to Rt. 280 and very close after the 280 exit. Not sure of the number off of Rt.280 but easy to look up.

Edison's home is a beautiful period house. To see his library and modest furnishings is to see a man who kept his life simple while innovating the world. His laboratory is at the bottom of hill and is a fun visit as well.

We first went to tour the Edison House at Glenmont in Llewellyn Park. An ideal example of Victorian Queen Anne architecture with an intriguing story about it's first owner. A stroll through the grounds proved to be a lovely, tranquil walk. Then, at the laboratory,...More

A place to learn about Thomas Edison : inventor and businessman, described as America's greatest inventor. More significant than the number of Edison's patents (>1000) was the widespread impact of his inventions in our lives: the first incandescent electric light bulb, the phonograph, the motion...More

We've lived about 15 minutes away from this park for 15+ years and finally visited! What a treat, if you love history, science or stepping back in time. What we hadn't realized before our visit, is that much of the space is just as it...More

Although this exhibit is not open daily, why I don't know, it is VERY well done, and the price is affordable. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

We visited the Thomas Edison workshop. We have a NP pass to get us in free, if we would have had to pay the fee, we would have been disappointed. As it was, it was a nice way to spend about 2 hours. Several of...More

Yes, its close by a mile away. The parking is free. You can’t researched it but as you go to the park they’ll give you the address & direction to the mansion as part of the park package.
