Located in the Wells Fargo Bank Building, this is a well done history of early banking in the United Stated and Philadelphia. You must go through to the main banking floor for a look at what banks looked like in the early 1900's. Just beautiful.

Aaahh, nice museum with a few interesting, cute historical collection and helpful staff. I wanted to walk to the Liberty Bell but stopped here on the way because the weather was quite chilly and I didn't bring my fall jacket. What a nice museum. Cute!...More

This is really an exhibit rather than a museum, attached to the main bank. Wells Fargo has the name we all remember from way back when mainly through stagecoach and cowboy films. Do not miss the main film (about 5mins) at the front of the...More

We may we'll have teens but they weren't too young to have fun dressing up and boarding the stagecoach. A lovely museum with lots of interesting information about days gone by.

"Tales of Wells Fargo!" Jim Hardie would be happy to see this almost hidden gem of a wonderful Center City Philadelphia museum. Just south of City Hall, the museum sits on the first floor of an impressive tall bank building. In the Wells Fargo Bank,...More

We were walking back to our hotel when we saw a sign of this museum. We had time to spare so we decided to visit. What a nice little museum: entertaining and fun!

A very pleasant surprise to find this small but very interesting museum, it certainly brought back childhood memories of the famous Wells Fargo Stagecoaches. This should encourage other historical corporations to open up their heritage to the general public!

If only more corporations set up this kind of tribute to their history and contribution to the nation's past, I think we'd have more of an understanding of how things unfold over time.
