This place gets very busy on nice summer evenings. But happy hour and during shoulder season, it is so enjoyable to lay in a hammock or drink by the water!

Went to see the colored lights and hammocks in a grove of trees. What we saw was a third of the lights not working, all the hammocks hogged for the entire evening, and dirt over the whole area, no grass (or even chips, rubberized footing,...More

I've been there a few times. I don't live in the city, so this is an excellent place to visit if you need a break from all the walking. It's pretty crowded, and there is undoubtedly lots of drinking going around. But, we went with...More

We went on a Wednesday evening for a free jazz concert. The musicians were under the trees and as it got dark, lovely hanging lights went out. It's so nice to see Philly doing cool things on the waterfront.

Yes it is a bit pricey, no it is not THAT cool, but I admire what they are trying to attract more people into the area and space for families and friends to hang out peacefully. To be frank, Philly can be pretty segregated, but...More

I love almost anything around water. So that alone helps this rating. The colors are beautiful when lit at night. We were not a fan of the food options. There are a lot of people but not a lot to do. I really want to...More

I think it closes in October. It's a seasonal activity.
