Located in Eakins Oval, beautiful and huge statue of Washington on a horse. Makes a much better picture than the insignificant Rocky statue in front. Visited in June 2016.

To me this is the biggest and best monument in Philly. Not just the main statue in the center , but also all the surrounding statues in this park. Great work and huge! This to me is the most important monument. Parking expensive next door...More

Located at the Eakins Oval in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, this area is worth a visit. This is a beautiful statue and park. The Rocky statue and steps are right across the road.

We visited shortly after dusk with the gentle moonlight and a slight fog. It was extremely impressive.

Still as impressive as ever with the reflection pool. Too bad the elevator is under repairs / upgrade until at least 2019
