City Hall is a beautiful structure but also a great touchstone when giving directions. It's kind of the center of Center City and you can walk to hundreds of places from there.

If you get a chance to get the tower tour of City Hall you won’t need to visit any other skyscraper or bus tour in Philly. You can see everything from the top!

You need to get tickets early for the ascent of City Hall as spaces are limited – when you get to the waiting room it becomes apparent why as the final ascent is in a tiny lift (the guide did ask if anyone was afraid...More

Worth a look- It is definitely a rip off of the City Hall in Paris except the American flourish- that huge tower is kind of amusing. William Penn on top much larger than life- and on the ground floor quite a few other larger than...More

I love old buildings and there is so much history in Philadelphia, I love that this piece of history is still functioning and at the heart of a modern city

What an amazing building. You could spend hours photographing all the statues on this historical building.

Not sure but I believe it looks exactly the same from all four directions. It is pretty cool, and actually looks and feels like the city center. Cool water area outside for kids and families. I enjoyed it!

Hotel was 3 blocks from it on Broad, so we walked past and through it various times. Beautiful from the outside, so large. Thought about going to the top, since it was included in the Philly Pass, but you have to schedule a time, and...More

We did not take an official tour, just walked around it and through it. Beautiful building. Demonstrators on one site but peaceful. Seems to always be something going on around the building.
