This is my second visit. I won't be returning. Just ridiculous that I had to pay Natalie $20 admission for me and my daughter just to get into something where there are vendors where you can buy things. What am I paying for her to walk into the facility? Not a lot of variety of food vendors. I think I counted maybe like four places where you could get a meal. Multiple salsa booths. What did that $20 get me? The ability to walk in and buy stuff. The lady with the therapy dogs was NOT welcoming by the way. Kind of snobby. Not tons of blueberry cuisine. Like two booths maybe.

So, to be fair - we came here on Thanksgiving when things were very quiet, and really just strolled through the grounds and looked in some of the buildings. It was a pleasant enough place for a walk among the historic buildings, but wasn't particularly exciting or illuminating otherwise.

Went to the 2022 Blueberry festival. Cost a family of 5, 40$ to get in. There was a few things to see, but we covered the festival in about 45 min. Got a 2 min pony ride for my 4 yo for 5$, and a good chat with the ladies in the kitchen about cooking years ago. Tried to buy a blueberry pie on the way out and was told that unless I pre-ordered, they were sold out. Left empty handed. The beer tent might have improved the experience, but for family entertainment, this festival was a solid 1 star, 2 is generous. Would not recommend for a family.

We’ve attended this festival every year for the past ten years and it’s usually sunny and hot. This year was our first as vendors and the experience was pretty good - staff was good to work with, cost was reasonable and parking, set up and cleanup was good. It rained both days but people still showed up and everyone seemed to be enjoying the food and activities. Our whole family worked one of the food tents and the staff helped us with everything. The only problem was the hook ups to city electricity was not enough power so we used generator and it got us through. We will try vending here again next year.

Burnside Plantation has beautiful old buildings/barns and a spectacular garden. Came here with my family (no teens involved actually) for the Blueberry Fest. It was a little pricey but I believe part of the admission goes to maintenance of the Plantation. My favorite part besides the garden was the small outdoor kitchen where they did cooking demos. Hoping to go for Apple Fest next year!

We enjoy this festival nearly every year! Blueberries in pies, crepes, and even the beer! This year we were honored to serve our beer.
The Burnside Plantation offers other events year round. Always a good time while learning something new!

I have been to the Burnside Plantation for a Girl Scouts event where we toured the house, garden, and barn. It was well-organized, and we learned a lot about local history.
I have also gone to the Blueberry Festival - held annually in July - for the past 3 years. It's a great event. They offer free tours and demonstrations at the Blueberry Festival. They have an array of foods, crafts, vendors, and at least two stages with entertainment. My kids always make use of the free kids' craft tent.
