This is a very cool museum, which gets it funding from state and local government and supported by BLM. Located a few miles from excavation sites, there is a working Lab that can be viewed. My husband, I and two 10 year olds spent 1.5...More

We stopped on a whim and were so pleased. It’s a small collection but is so well set up, presented and detailed that we thoroughly enjoyed it. Kids have ways to interact with some of the displays. I’ve been in museums with dinosaurs but this...More

Interesting but needed better staffing. We only saw one person who sold entry tickets and also took care of gift shop and didn’t seem to have an interest in answering questions

The Dinosaur Museum exceeded our expectations. The exhibits were informative, educational and fun. The museum used a lot of thought and planning into the choice of exhibits with emphasis on local history...we appreciated that. This little museum is a gem. There are a number of exhibits and tons of fossils. As the area is a replete with fossils, it's a great location. Kids would are into dinosaurs can spend a bunch of time here.

In the off-season this is a very quiet place with an almost-empty parking lot. We weren't expecting much but were pleasantly surprised by how much we learned. It's a small place filled with dinosaur skeletons, both whole & in pieces, & informative displays about the...More
