We found this delightful church sanctuary open after service times on Sunday. Interior is a unique blend of "high church" fancy with colonial austerity--much simpler overall than, say, nearby Bruton Parish Church. My visits were in connection with volunteer service for military families. The inside of the building reminds of a time when American craftsmen took pride in their craft. The staff was amazingly welcoming.

It was within walking distance from the waterfront just off the Main Street. Nice little church, small but fancy organ.

Grace Episcopal church is a n old church dating back to late 1600's. The history is astounding. well worth the visit. Cermetary has many prominent persons interred there.
