Take a stroll along the York River and enjoy the views, restaurants, and shops. The end of April was a perfect time, as the weather was nice, and the crowds nonexistent.

This walk is easy as no hills and very beautiful along the water front. When we were there there were lots of boats to see.

River walk landing has a decent amount of parking nearby, including a garage. You can take a stroll on the small Yorktown beach, and there are a decent amount of restaurants located here too.

Lovely walk, so peaceful and so relaxing. Didn't expect so many restaurants and shops. Loved the bridge and river views.

This did not blow me away since it was cold out and seemed rather dead, Maybe in the summer it would be great with the scenery, the water and shops bustling. A good little walk though and would recommend it.

Yorktown has a wonderful Riverfront Landing with several restaurants, ice cream shops, boutique shopping, and a municipal parking garage. Nice views. Concerts and markets occur here throughout the year.

Nice area to walk. Great informational signs to learn about the area. Views of the river are great. We walked briskly in January due to 28 degree temperatures!

I enjoy visiting Yorktown whenever I vacation in Williamsburg. The Riverwalk is a paved pathway that follows the river. It is very pedestrian friendly and dotted with shops and restaurants. In the evening is possible to take a sunset sailing cruise. There is a free...More
