This museum has so many interesting displays, all depicting the lives of Chesapeake watermen. Yorktown has so much to offer. The Watermen’s Museum is worth a visit!

Admission is $5 per person, but free for military. It’s adjacent to the river and the battlefield. Nice gift shop.

Exhibits highlight the experience and culture of the area's watermen. I enjoyed it quite a bit. Right on the river close to the shops, beach and restaurants.

The Watermen's Museum is a great showcase of life on the water, past and present. They also provide demonstrations during the year.

This small museum is dedicated to the nautical items in the area. There is a master builder of model ships who is friendly and will answer all questions. Definite must see.
