I took my granddaughters, ages 5 and 6, to visit there. We got there right at 9 AM and it was wonderful and not crowded at all. When we left at noon it was getting very busy. Right from the start I was very impressed...More

Great museum for anyone interested in the American Revolution. It goes through the timeline for how the Revolution started, to the different theaters of war, to the weapons used. Outside, theirs a encampment with actors who tell you about camp life and have weapon demonstrations...More

Very nice Museum with outdoor settlement. We watched a firing of a cannon, learned about old time remedies for illnesses, learned about tobacco planting and harvesting. Can be done in 1/2 day!

we went to the Yorktown revolutionary museum on our colonial triangle visit in Virginia. The museum was very well put together with a chronological look at the creation of our United States. Many nice artifacts and displays tell the story. An outside display of Washington's...More

This museum is comprehensive and engaging. The inside has a lot of interesting texts and artifacts, but the best part is the outdoor recreation of an 18th century farm and Revolutionary soldier encampment. The people are knowledgeable and fun, and the explanations and demonstrations (particularly...More

One of my favorite museums ever! Loved exploring the outdoor encampment and chatting with the characters. I learned so much about early everyday life in the colonies. There are so many hands-on interactive exhibits inside and out. A must see!

Asking the admission price is a tough one as there are all sorts of ticket combinations. The Historic Triangle Pass for $91 might be best for many, but we didn't go that route as we, as seniors and retired military, with a... More
