This two-floor museum is hands-on and interactive for science concepts. The bottom floor is mostly for youngsters until 12 years old. The main floor is interesting to all ages. Demonstrations are included in entrance fee. We attended and enjoyed the fun and interesting Tesla Coil and the Winter themed programs. Entrance is free with ASTC membership.

This is a hands on museum. If your kids are more into displays and exhibits, this may not be best for them. Almost everything is interactive. Stayed on site for 3 hours with zero boredom from the kids. Only reason we left was to grab lunch. Itās in an awesome spot downtown near a plethora of other businesses.

All kids enjoyed! Our smallest loved the preschool room and our older kids spent lots of time exploring the Keva plank building areas! All kids enjoyed the climbing structure! They also have some live animals on display/part of programming. Gift shop had a nice selection of gifts/souvenirs. Cable car stops very close by.

This museum is probably the best kidās museum I have taken my little one to and we have been to several. We have been to larger and fancier locations but this museum kept the kids captivated with lots of interesting experiments. We could have spent the whole day and not been bored. Surprisingly there is no food establishment inside but they allowed us to leave to get lunch and re-enter since it wasnāt crowded. If you have young kids this place is a winner.

Nice kids museum. Several fun demonstrations during the day. TripAdvisor needs to be ok with 60 words.

We went here for something to do that would interest us both. We parked along the street and paid the meter but I think there are some lots/garages nearby. There is a lot to do here. There are experiments and almost everything is hands on. If you have children they will learn while playing. There are things to do for all ages. There is even an area where you can look at animals. (no big animals reptiles, amphibians, and insects) This place is also close to other things if you want to have a fun day out in Little Rock.

Is this good for a 9-10 year old girl? Or is she too old?

There is an area that has role play and physical activity play areas that are designed for kids 6 and under, but the rest of the museum is great for any age.

Iām planning a trip here with my 2 kids (4 & 2). Just wondering how close it actually is to the spray ground at Riverfront Park? Would it be relatively easy to grab dinner somewhere afterwards and walk over? If so, whereās the best place to park the car? Thanks in advance :)

The Museum of Discovery is an easy walk to the spray ground at Riverfront Park as well as to lots of restaurants, including kid friendly places. Parking decks are available within a couple of blocks from the Museum as well as surface lots and on the street (if youāre lucky!). You can park further away and ride the electric trolley to get around in Little Rockās River Market and the Argenta District on the north side.

How long do you think it would take to go through the museum pressed for time and still have a good visit? Thanks!

We do have a space for ages 6 and under and within that space, there is a toddler area.
