We really enjoyed our visit. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. We actually learned alot about life back in the mid 1800s from talking to the interpreters.

This museum has several preserved buildings as a "village". The docent did an excellent job intreperting the site, and the museum had a great exhibit about native americans.

A superb small museum with costumed docents leading you through historic period buildings. The buildings have been thoughtfully restored and the docents are interesting and informative. The are also interesting contemporary art and historic displays in the modern museum building.
