There were engagement photos being done on the garden grounds on a Sunday. Nice touch that AR people are proud of their state reps, & tend the grounds so elegantly

The Capitol of Arkansas is a smaller version of the Capitol in Washington. It has a long and storied history, but is well maintained. Parking in the area is limited, but it is worth a short walk to visit.

This state capitol is similar to others in our nation, but seems to incorporate a lot more marble into it.

If you're in Little Rock, it's hard to miss the capitol building. The architecture is beautiful, and the monuments outside are well-crafted and interesting to see. I should include a note: there are a few confederate monuments on the grounds, which I'm sure some want...More

We enjoyed the opportunity to tour and visit the building. The experience was better than average. The tour was nice. The vault feature on the tour was a pleasant surprise and unique from any of the other tours we have completed.

We went on a school field trip. Lots of great history and architecture. Our capital is rhe only state that is similar to the National capital. Beautiful!

Beautiful building with free admission. A gift shop located on site. The General Assembly meets in the winter and spring each year. Good opportunity to see government in action.

There is a parking garage next door. You must ask the museum for a parking voucher.
