The show was well done and the story beautifully crafted, but it was great surprise to me, if not somewhat shocking that in the year 2017, in London, not one single member of any other ethnic group was represented on stage out of 23 (white)...More

The sets were incredible much like the beloved movie with Gene Kelly. The dancing was sensational. Great talent, costume and design. A wonderful two hours.

An American in Paris has got it all: Comedy, dancing, faultless and visually stunning staging. This is a classic musical theatre experience and a standout West End show. Go see it! There is so much to see that I'd gladly see it again.

I really looked forward to seeing the play, having loved the Gene Kelly film version. My 10 year old grandson went with me because he also loves the film. I understood it was a ballet tribute and would therefore be different from the film. However,...More

This production was a major disappointment. Here are the issues I had with it: -Lead Actress (Lise) was suppose to be French. Her accent changed between American to English to French-ish. Never really sounded French -The main Actor (Jerry Mulligan) and the main Actress (Lise)...More

Part musical, part ballet, this wasn't quite what i was expecting as my first Broadway experience. None the less the dancing was excellent, songs beautifully delivered and acting first rate. Lovely story too.
