About
There are a million things to experience in New York City, but there’s only one way to see them all at once. You can start by hopping a Sky Pod to the top of the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere. There, 102 stories up, find yourself face-to-face with New York’s iconic skyline. Maybe you’ve seen views of the city before, but never quite like this. Walk the three sprawling levels of the Observatory and discover surprises along the way. Drop into the café and grab a bite to eat. Step onto the Sky Portal and stroll high above the crowded streets. Take an interactive guided tour of the city with the help of our Skyline Concierges, available to answer any questions you might have about New York’s long and storied history. And don’t leave without stopping by the One Mix bar for a glass of celebratory prosecco and one last look toward the horizon. See for yourself why One World Observatory is truly An Experience Above.

    Rude responds from staff member
Great view of New York and all burrows, the only disappointment was when I asked a staff member if could stay and watch the introduction again. I was rudely told no and to exit the room straight away. Staff need some trains in interpersonal skills.

    Great views
We really enjoyed the experience. Very quick elevator, and great views from the top. It was very quick getting in - unlike other observatories there were hardly any queues to get in. There is glass all around (no outside area) hence reflections can be a problem for pictures, they advise to put phone cameras close to the glass. We wanted lunch and came across the cafe. So we grabbed food there but then realised there was a sit down restaurant next to the cafe, which we would have preferred. This is not clearly marked prior to entering the cafe area, which is a shame. We had a sandwich and then proceeded to go for drinks at the bar afterwards (it is not possible to bring food purchased at the cafe in the bar area !). Bar is a little expensive, but worth it given the great views ! Nice gift shop, with friendly staff. The main negative in our experience : one staff member was extremely rude after we got out of the elevator, telling us off for taking a picture and asking us to "move, move, photos can be taken on the next level" - if that is the case then it should be sign posted, as it is not necessarily obvious to people visiting for the first time. I don't think it is appropriate to shout at paying customers. My daughter was scared of this shouting !!

New view of New York and harbour
Grandkids loved seeing New York from the Observatory. Well worth it although not cheap but package on line saved us some money. The whole process very seamless. People very nice. Prices of food and water as high as the building

    Good Visit
One World Observatory has great views and a short presentation before going to see the view. The only downside is it is very commercialized with the staff attempting to upsell you with different things the entire time. On the way up you ride up with a staff member which was nice, however on the way down you do not which was not good due to guest behavior. Overall I got some amazing photos and would recommend.

    Such great heights
I love going high in the sky, Sears Tower, was the highest I've been until the One World. It's insane to think that the Burj in is still 1,000 feet taller than this monster. View was very nice of the city from up here. I recommend staying for the interactive show if you're up there! Very good information for any visitors!

    Worth it for the views
I was so looking forward to seeing Manhattan built up from grassland in the lift - each floor depicting each stage of development. That does happen but the lift does the 102 floors in 40+ seconds so you can’t take it all in . Try and video it to watch at your own pace .

    Worth the price
Greatly appreciated the visit. Show in the lift was a good start and then the video after exiting was a wow factor. Enjoyed the views all round. Not crowded and no wait. Had a$15 voucher but don't expect to get anything in the shop for that price because of taxes.

    You could see a lot
We could see all around the area... the statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn and Manhatten Bridges, the East River, New Jersey ... You ft safe because there were barriers about a foot from the windows. BUT everything was glasses, so you couldn't get pictures without reflections - especially since you couldn’t reach to put your camera up to the glass. That was disappointing.
Hello, Thank you for your kind words and for taking the time to share your experience with us. I’m sure our future visitors will appreciate the pointers on making the most of their visit! Warm Regards, Delfin Ortiz General Manager One World Observatory

Breathtaking views and kind staff, namely Lois
We loved our time at the One World Observatory - the views were breathtaking, especially watching the sunset felt surreal. However, what has made this experience so special and memorable was Lois, who went above and beyond to make this experience so special for us. The kindest soul we have ever met. She is the best employee and deserves all the recognition. She has made our day. Overall, I cannot recommend this place enough.
Hello, We strive to provide the best experience possible to our guests, we’re happy to hear that goal was achieved! Thank you for sharing such positive comments about Lois, we will share your kind words. Thanks for coming in, we’re looking forward to seeing you again! Kind Regards, Delfin Ortiz General Manager

Great view but take advantage of tourists
You can't knock the view. You will have a 360-degree view of Manhattan and the surrounding area, and for that reason it's worth it. However, once you've paid and ridden up the elevator, you will be processed through another line where you will be told there is no information in the actual observatory to help you identify what you are looking at. The solution is to pay $15 for an unsanitary-looking iPad which will fill in information when you hold it up to the view. Shortly after you get into the observatory, you will be funneled through a space with a New York backdrop so that you can have your picture taken while standing in front of it. And then of course, you can buy the picture later. We found this annoying. We just wanted to see the view. I have been to other observatories where they had plenty of information about what you were seeing and didn't ask you to pay an additional fee for that information. And sure, if people want to have their photos taken, that's fine, but don't funnel everyone through that space.

As a New Yorker, I am totally disappointed in this sad replacement of the Twin Towers. The building is not as high as the original towers. They attempt to make it bigger by including the antenna as part of the total height. The views are ok but no different and just as good as The top of the rock, The edge, or the Vanderbilt. The restaurant was terrible. Extremely disorganized and kept us waiting while we stared at several empty tables! The admission price is extremely high for what you get, which is pretty much nothing. The interactive tablet they give you is useless and does nothing spectacular. You don't need it. You're just walking around with this heavy tablet. Would not go back or recommend. Go somewhere else for views. Did I mention the AC wasn't working properly. It was 98 degrees outside, so we had to deal with the heat inside as well. Don't get caught in this tour trap.

Going up in the lift was a fun concept, the reveal was breathtaking. The talks were really informative. I could’ve spent all day just looking onto the city!! Definitely recommend going if you are in New York.

This is a amazing excursion first you go to the museum where you can learn all about the events of one of the most tragic days in modern history listen to voice recordings of people who were there and see amazing artefacts recovered from ground zero. Then move on to the one world Observatory with its spectacular views

Uninterrupted 360 Deg views of Manhattan and beyond. Fabulous photos. Not as iconic as the Empire State or as pretty inside but the space to move about and get the photos you want are a lot better.
However be aware if you fancy a just a drink / snack there is NO seating you have to pay for that in restaurant which is a real bummer and why it doesn't get 5 stars.

Great views of the city, the lift up is very fun with the history of NYC unfolding as you go up. I think I was a little unfazed by this point as I had already done several of the other tower viewing platforms but it's got great views of the Statue of Liberty, several of the bridges as well as Empire State in the distance.

Im not a lover of heights but this was definitely worth going up. You are taken to the top in seconds where you get a 360 degree view of Manhattan, New Jersey and Connecticut (45 miles on a clear day). You can also make the use of a tablet that shows you different landmarks of the area you are looking at. Huge windows allows you to see everything. There is also a restaurant, cafe bar and a drinks bar. We didn’t book. it was $45 dollars for a 30 minute wait at the time we went or $64 to have entry straight away but you also got a $15 dollar voucher to spend at the bar. As we intended to have a drink anyway this was the best option for us.

Just amazing. Had to imagine the previous building here (which I had lectured in, back in the 1980s and 1990s). Enjoyed the live talk (at 10:30 near the South sign). Gal was very informative and knew her history. Today it was quite hazy, so pictures of the surrounding areas didn’t come out well.

Skip the VIP tour pass (with the gift shop and food/beverage credit). We had a $30 credit, but wanted to buy a single postcard at the gift center for $1.95. No refunds for unused credit. Decided to go back up to the cafe and spent $36 on 1 bottle of H20, 1 bottle of diet coke, 1 bottle of ice tea and a tasteless wrap. Zero flavor discernible in the wrap. Eat before you go

This experience was amazing, one of the best we did in NYC. We had tickets for the day before and it was zero visible so staff recommended we change the day free of charge and it was easy to do and the staff were friendly and informative. The day we visited was a beautiful clear day, the views were spectacular. We had cocktails and flight of beers in the bar. Matthew was our bar tender and like the rest of the bar staff he was really friendly. They took time to talk to us and give us information about the city. We would have loved to be able to come back to the bar to see the staff again and to have a meal but to do this we would have to buy another day experience ticket. Access to bar and restaurant only would be great and we would have definitely returned for a meal. Over all everyone that works at One World Observatory was great. Thank you very much. We would visit again if we are ever back in the city.

The experience was ok. We were disappointed. It’s very crowded. The iPad thing is a joke. They don’t work very well and are cumbersome to carry around. The restaurant is a skip. It was very disappointing

Went on a cloudy New York morning. There was no line to purchase tickets and no wait to get an elevator. We purchased the combo ticket that included the digital skyline guide which was actually very helpful. I would recommend getting one if this is your first trip to NY and you need help figuring out what you’re looking at. There was also a One World guide walking around answering questions and she was so nice and full of great information. I would highly recommend this experience! The views were incredible even though it wasn’t a crystal clear day.
