This is an area that is maybe more genuine and from the earlier time of NY-city. Lots of nice small shops/restaurants and you feel you're far away from the busy Manhatten - although just a short walk away.

My favourite neighbourhood. Had a great relaxed energy and so many restaurants/bars - all with people in them. Found the shops here very inviting with open doors and a very organic feel. Certainly a wonderful way to spend an afternoon.
