Lovely little park in the middle of Manhattan. Many chairs and park benches for you to hang out and read a book. The picnic area is very nice but I’d check on their website before planning to go because lawns are often closed after it has rained the day before.

One of quite a few parks in NYC that is well organised and kept in pretty mint condition with activities for both humans and dogs.

This review is written by a class of local first graders after a field trip to Madison Square Park.
We believe that Madison Square Park is incredible. One reason is it is a great place to drink coffee and watch dogs. This is a really fun and nice thing to do because there is a dog park right there in the park!!! Another reason why we loved Madison Square Park is because there is a Shake Shack. This is a nice place to eat food and you can relax or read while enjoying your meal. There are many tables and chairs to sit on and eat comfortably. There is also a reflection pool! The reflection pool is good for a bird bath. The statues in Madison Square Park are awesome because you can look at them and observe them and see who made them. Also, it is like a scavenger hunt to find all of them! To sum up, this is why Madison Square Park is fantastic. We think you should go there for a nice trip!

We decided to sit here for a snack after a morning spent doing a lot of walking. There's even a Shake Shack there if you need extra snacks, and a public toilet! My daughter loved watching the starlings and pigeons.

What a great and beautiful park. A place to relax and rest and enjoy the views of the beautiful architecture surrounding the park. There’s even a sectioned area where dogs are free to run and play, which we all found great to watch.

Visited in Mid- April and it is starting to look really well. All the trees and flowers are now in bloom and the grass has regrown.

This park is uptown from Times Square. It’s a nice green spot in a city of skyscrapers. It was pretty clean and a nice walk.

After miles of walking, a great place to sit, relax and eat a takeout lunch. A mini oasis from the hubbub of the busy city.
The whole area around here is pleasant.

A great place to stop after you walk the city and/or visited the NYC library. Lots of benches and shade. A nice playground and a dog park. Plenty of food shops and coffee placed around.
