Beautiful, one of the best shows I've seen in a long time. Great story line about Carol King. I don't thing there's a bad seat in the house. If there are they're aren't many.

Beautiful the Musical is a wonderful show. I had no idea Carole King wrote so many songs. She was very popular when I was in High School but I wasn't sure my kids would be entertained by the show. They ended up liking it as...More

I sprung for a seat which was first row in the second section. It was a great view and very comfortable. The play brought back so many memories of the 60's and 70's music that I love and reminds you of all the amazing music...More

By Broadway standards I believe this is considered a newer theater. Not sure when it was developed but I think it was the mid sixties. This musical production was very well down. Good sound, great vocals and good acting. We are Carole King fans from...More

The show was brilliant and the Theatre was fine except for two points: why do theatres sell sweets/candy in crinkly wrappers, this can spoil the experience if people are thoughtless? Secondly, the rest room attendants would not have been out of place at a prison...More

The energy builds with the very first song and builds and builds throughout the show until the audience is rocking, loving every minute of it. Truly well-done and well-performed so hats off to the cast. The theatre itself gets stars in this review as a...More

I attended a performance of BEAUTIFUL with some friends. This was my first visit to the Stephen Sondheim Theatre. When we entered the theater, we found ourselves in the mezzanine. Our seats were in the center of the mezzanine and they were excellent. I'm not...More

The rating is for the theatre and not for the musical. ("Beautiful" was OK -- appreciated it for the story that it told and how well it was presented.) Stephen Sondheim Theatre is a more modern venue than other Broadway theatres that I have been...More

Saw “Beautiful” in this smallish theater off Broadway. We had seats in the 12th row Orchestra (1st floor) and thought they were perfect. Could see and hear everything. Was a little unusual in that you enter the theater on the mezzanine level (3rd floor) and...More

Our experience of this cute little theatre was good. We called in on the day we wanted tickets. The staff in the box office were patient and polite and soon we had purchased two of the only four tickets available in the orchestra so we...More

Have an opportunity to get front row seats--wondering if it is worth it? Or better off back from the stage a little?

Front row not necessary and would not even consider unless you are center; you will probably be looking up. If you are to the side, you want to be further back to have a better perspective of the stage; a better angle if... More
