I was able to get a ticket to Three Tall Women. It closes on June 24. It was well worth it. I had a seat in center orchestra row R which is next to last, but the view was fine. Glenda Jackson was amazing. It's...More

Traveled solo from L.A. at the beginning of May to see several plays in several days. I saw Three Tall Women on Thurs. May 10 and was exhilarated. This is a terrific production of a seldom seen Albee play. Great production values: terrific set, lighting,,...More

"Three Tall Women" is a superb play with a fabulous cast! How lucky we are to have seen Glenda Jackson live along with Laurie Metcalf and Alison Pill. A real treat. The theater is small and intimate and we were in the first row--all these...More

A wonderful intimate theatre with so much ambience. Like most NYC theatres, the seats are small and uncomfortable and don't like the bathrooms downstairs but the size of the theatre is good for an intimate performance. I didn't enjoy Three Tall Women as much as...More

Loved Three Tall Women. Glenda Jackson, Laurie Metcalf and Alison Pill are all simply brilliant. The story resonates, a little too much. Moving and thought provoking. A 'must see'.

The Golden is a small theatre, most seats except for the far far sides upstairs are good. You can sit upstairs in the last row and still see and hear and enjoy everything. The current show is EXCELLENT! If you love good theatre, you really...More

I came here and saw Three Tall Women and it was amazing! The space itself is elegant, but not pretentious. Intimate, but not crowded. The play itself was mesmerizing and I will definitely be back no matter what is playing.

Re refreshments and snacks? Yes, they are, but they are very overpriced. Best to go to a local deli first and get what you want. You will not be allowed to bring anything into the theater. Coat Check. Most theaters... More

Generally speaking, these rows are among the tightest. You can call the theater at (212) 239-6200 and ask them directly. These old theaters are like economy airline seats.
