This show is unlike anything you will find in NYC. It is incredibly sexy and fun. The visuals were stunning and all of the dancers and performers were top notch. If you want to see something that is not broadway and even more unique go see this. Great date night as well.

Really nice club in a great location. Especially worth if you stay at the Edition Hotel which allows you to skip the line. Went there two night in a row with friends/colleagues while in NYC for the weekend. First night only couple drinks, good vibe and music. Second night ended up getting a table. All fun and great. The issue with this place is that on larger bills they charge 20% SVC and not mention this upon check out. They just give you the check and there is a field for tips (not like “additional tip” as I have seen in other places). I only noticed next day at home that I gave a very generous 40% tip on an already overpriced bill. Inquired with them through the Edition Hotel and was told to receive a reply/comment. Followed up two times in 4-6 weeks - nothing. I am not after the money and hope it fell into the right hands but was hoping for a rely/apology at least. If you visit this otherwise nice club beware, and detail check your bill. Hard when everyone is just having a good time and its dark.

The whole experience is incredible! You have to see a show here. It is a unique theatrical experience from the moment you check-in for the night. The food was delish, the service was great and the show was incredible! There are sooooooo many talent people in that show! I felt like I was in a super exclusive club and got a real 70's disco vibe, but way cooler. If you don't experience this you will regret it.

Let's begin with the dinner. We have paid 195 usd each, only for the fixed menu, without drinks. We arrived 15 minutes late. After 20 minutes we realised there were courses missing. Exactly the most premium ones, like tuna and shrimp. They told us it was because we were late. So they took of whatever they wanted. If this was true, they would begin with what they were serving at that moment for other tables. And it was it true. I've seen tables getting their tuna after us... anyway. Food was pricey for what they served. Show is amateur. Several problems due to lack of rehearsal. They try to impact but it worthless. The devouring? There were nothing about devouring. They need to choose what they are. Acrobats? Dancers? Any Broadway show will be much better and professional than this. We ended with 700 usd with a terrible experience and not good food. The Veuve Clicquot was the only really good choice... but for usd 140 a bottle. At the end, they brought us 2 extra glasses of champagne.... as a courtesy. Courtesy? They have charged in our bill!!! Unbelievable. Not worth it...

I must admit the other reviews leave me puzzled as to why the 'rave reviews' and perfect ratings. Then again after reading most of them leads me to believe they are manufactured by the hotel and staff; just look at their profiles and then the language like 'most unique club in NYC' and 'venue is sexy'. No outside would write that.
Fact is the score should be lower but giving this place the benefit of the doubt because on this night we were told it was a new show and menu.
What works is the private elevator with host to the 7th floor. Welcome shot. Prompt seating. Venue and surroundings are exceptional. At this point I am telling myself how I cannot wait to recommend this place to my friends and colleagues. Then downhill. The food, well, is nothing short of disgusting.
The 'theme' was some eclectic 'land, water, air, fire'. So on our table sat a wire frame of a tree (that they penned 'the tree of life') with pieces of prosciutto and figs dangling from it. A tray of green grass with crudites. And a tiny crystal decanter of popcorn. Weird. Really weird. Then came some tower with more veg. The kicker? A soup they called 'Frozen Sea Water Soup' that was ice water with chopped vegetables. Read again. Ice water. Now I was pissed. Disgusting. Dinner was worse; an overspiced head of cauliflower and roasted chicken that was wet and slimy. Raw bok choy. And this time served tableside with the hand of a manequin, scissors, and rubber gloves. WTF? Dessert saw slight improvement but again the kitchen trying too damn hard to be avent garde; bold in this case was boring. Poor execution with worse food.
Credit the performers as the only highlight of the night. Acrobats, dancers, et all were pretty on point. And believe me the tables around us too we were all looking at each other like WTF? In fact the table of two next to us did not eat one thing. We enjoyed cocktails with several groups afterwards in the lobby bar and the feedback was consistent; waste of time and money.

Dear szoboken
Thank you for your honest feedback. We sincerely apologize that the food did not meet your expectations. The evening you joined was, as you correctly stated, the first time we were serving an entirely new menu. After careful review of your input as well as others, the menu is being revised. We are truly sorry for your experience and would like the opportunity to welcome you back to Paradise Club. We look forward to speaking with you soon.

As a New York resident, I try to take advantage of what my city has to offer as often as time and money allow. One of my favorite things to do is attend burlesque shows and similar performances that involve comedy, acrobatics, music, and dance in some combination.
Since this is in Times Square, I was very apprehensive, but I went since I’ve enjoyed the Edition in other locations I thought I would give it a try. The food is Asian fusion and while I’m not vegetarian, some of the people in my party are and I as a result, I got to taste some of the creative veg alternatives they had to offer which actually enhanced my dining experience.
The ambiance feels very seductive and Phillip Starkesque, but not in a tacky way. The show has a really sassy and talented MC that even made one of the more conservative members of the audience feel
Uncomfortable. Welcome to NYC! The show starts out really strong, has great dancers, and is very interactive. The orientation of the show even changes at one point where the dancers are actually in the bar in the back, which was pretty surprising.
After the show ends, they slowly remove the tables and it turns into a club afterwards. Since the show ends at 11ish, you’ll have to hang out for about an hour before the club gets packed since they don’t let in people very quickly. I would definitely go back and it’s a very solid option for a night out (especially if you don’t want to leave midtown).

The show is located in an incredible venue, with beautifully painted walls that make you question the reason why humanity is here on Earth. Absolutely fantastically talented cast of performers. Food served (Vegan upon request which me and my love did) at dinner is delicious but don't expect anything regular - the Chef plays with your taste like Zinedine Zidane in a match vs Scotland in 2002 - SPECTACULAR! Lyrics of the songs tap into the topics of existence, death, present moment and human relations. Come with an open heart and leave full of joy (and with full stomach)!

Summary - Paradise Club was not what I’d hoped for based upon the other positive reviews. The food was mediocre and portions were small. The entertainment was fine but not top notch by any means. I think if you’re a tourist looking for something to do and you’ve never been to a show like this before, it can be a fun and unique experience. But if you’re a experienced New Yorker who knows truly delicious food and has seen actually impressive performances in the past, then Paradise Club will underwhelm. No single element of the night was truly great, nor was there something I hadn’t seen before. For the price, which came to about $1700 including tip for 6 people, I expected so much more. I am truly surprised by the number of positive reviews posted - I really wanted to like Paradise Club, and I am writing to hopefully save as many people I can from making a mistake with their money. I give 3 stars, which means average.
Food - Disappointing, considering it’s from a Michelin starred chef. The food is served family style, which basically amounted to a lot of very small plates and incredibly meager portions - so much so that after the “main course” was served, one of my friends was still so hungry that he had to special order a bowl of pasta from the hotel restaurant to be delivered to Paradise Club. I will say there were 1 or 2 bites of things where I heard my friends say something good, but most of the food went by without comment. In addition to being small, the portions also often made no sense - we were 6 people, but there were only 4-5 oysters and only 4 steamed buns and only 4-5 dumplings. So at best, not everyone could try something. They tried to fill the table with lots and lots of lettuces to make it look more full, which came across as cheap. It almost felt like they didn’t order enough food for the night. There certainly was never enough to have 2 of something. As the host for the evening, I basically starved because I wanted my guests to enjoy themselves and get to try everything that was served.
Service - The waitress we had was fine. I think she was surprised when we were still hungry and helped facilitate that bowl of pasta from the hotel restaurant, which was nice but never should have had to happen in the first place. The other staff though was idiotic and rude. As a small example, one of the people topped off my friend’s sparkling water glass with still water. When my friend mentioned this, the staffer told him that his water glass was on the wrong side of his plate, which is just so incredibly rude to blame a guest for his own mistake. Again, a minor example but it’s indicative of what to expect.
Entertainment - I give the performers themselves a lot of credit for trying to make everyone’s night fun, and they seemed to be enjoying themselves. However, the performances themselves were sadly nothing special. It was better than the entertainment on a cruise ship but so much worse than say a Cirque Du Soleil or even the Big Apple Circus. Here are some examples of what you can expect - break dancing, juggling, a woman who balances and manipulates umbrellas on her body, lots of spinning on ropes from the ceiling, singing, etc. I’ve essentially seen each of these acts before and generally performed better than what I saw at Paradise Club, especially on the singing side. The singers are just not strong enough for the venue. The scripts/lyrics were also nonsensical and often just pathetic - like throwing in the F word every now and then for no reason other than to try to be shocking, but it came across as juvenile, contrived, and forced. Maybe we had the B list performers on our particular evening, but any discerning person would not be impressed. In fact, as I looked around at other tables during Act 2, there were numerous other people who truly looked bored and over it.

I am wondering why is it so complicated? Your website is completely useless.. it is switching to other websites and there is absolutely no answer to a question where and how to purchase the tickets on certain date. The only date it shows on completely different website is 27 Nov. I learned that there is no tickets at entrance and this is it. So big night club and cannot afford decent website. Horrible!!!!

Can I pay for admission in advance? Is there a lineup? I am coming on 23 Nov, Party of four.

Can you go after the show just for the nightclub? What’s the cost, if so? We are staying in the hotel and would like to go for late night dancing but not the show as we have other dinner plans.

Hi ktcarswell98
Paradise Club has no cover charge for the nightlife part of the evening. Guests are welcomed at the Ground Floor and directed to the 7th Floor via a dedicated elevator.
We look forward to seeing you on the dance floor at Paradise Club soon!
