This was tremendously enjoyable, and it felt like you were really behind the scenes seeing so much up close. I can’t imagine this would be of too much interest, though, for non-Downton fans, as the characters are after all fictional. However, there are good narratives...More

It was a good refresher on bits of Downton. I loved the video portions, especially Mr Carson greeting us at the entry! There are other videos, but wish there were even more of these throughout. All in all, an enjoyable exhibit. Excellent presentations of costumes,...More

Much of the exhibit was enjoyable but I expect more when spending this much money. The space was too warm and humid which not only made it uncomfortable but can't be good for delicate artifacts such as the costumes. While the exhibits looked professional, the...More

Housed in an old clothing store, this exhibit is chock full of terrific moments and memorabilia from Downton. 3 floors of well thought out and detailed displays. The surround video room was outstanding. The vignettes of period clothes and furniture were remarkable. Staff was organized...More

The Downton Abbey: The Exhibition is wonderful! If you are a Downton Abbey fan you will definitely appreciate the entire exhibition. The gowns are amazing! It is very easy to walk all around each of the floors and get caught up in the time periods.

Overall, the exhibition offers a lot to like for fans of the series. The 3-level arrangement has the servants' life on the lowest level (of course), and the family's life on the upper 2. Great pains have been taken to bring original sets used in...More

My visit to the exhibit was like going home. All the characters were there, each with a personal biography and pictures. There were rooms decorated exactly like the ones in the house and the commentaries for each room brought you back to the episode on...More

I agree about calling ahead. Even though coats aren't being checked now even security questions might deter checking a suitcase. And I don't think there is an assumption of such a need.
