We enjoyed our visit to the NY library. The architecture alone makes it worth the stop. There is a nice gift shop with books, bags, book marks, puzzles etc to purchase.

Took the 11:00 free tour and saw spectacular rooms and then stayed later for a free exhibit. Visit the children's library downstairs and see the original bear which was the inspiration for Winnie the Pooh.

Great exhibit featuring 1960's counter-revolution documents, posters, & magazines currently going on for the Summer. The main branch library as architecture as grand as grand central station. Library is a NYC freebie no admission charge.

One of my favorite libraries to work in. A real testament to civic philanthropy and a desire to give others the tools to improve their lives.
