Last evening we were invited to visit David Geffen hall at the Lincoln Center to see Amadeus. This show was part movie and part symphony orchestra. How great is that !!!. Before we attended we read some information I regard to mozarts life to better...More

the acoustics are terrible... the NY Philharmonic sounded like playing in a vacuum. Carnigie Hall or the Kimmel Center are much better!

We heard a stunning performance of Handel’s Messiah out last night, and the Westminster chorus from Princeton New Jersey did a beautiful job. The applause was deafening, and we enjoyed a beautiful start to the holiday Season. The hall was beautifully decorated and we enjoyed...More

The hall is enormous with a very high ceiling. Sitting in the orchestra about 30 rows from the stage a piano concerto sounded like it was being played at the end of a very large room, which of course is about right. More immediate sounds...More

My first time to see the NY Philharmonic and it was a beautiful setting. Sound was clear and crisp. Most people were extremely quiet and respectful. I wish David Geffen Hall would enforce a dress code but these are the times we live in. There...More

The day of the performance the New York Philharmonic offers rush tickets for $21.00. I got an amazing aisle seat for a magnificent performance of Rachmaninoff and Sibelius. Enjoy!

Overall the venue itself seemed to have an underwhelming amount of bathrooms and services considering the amount of people the theater holds. The seats aren't exactly the most comfortable and they're actually smaller than airline seats. That being said we were there for the NY...More

We came to this beautiful place for my son's Gallatin school of NYU graduation. It's a great venue at a fantastic NY location. Music here should be outstanding.

Attended an amazing concert at Lincoln Center with the NY Philharmonic. It was 2 pieced by John Adams and he was there. What an experience to hear him explain the piece. Amazing piece played by the NY Philharmonic.

There are really no bad seats for movies -- I prefer sitting higher than the orchestra because the screen is gigantic and the acoustics are fine everywhere. First or second tier in the center will give you a view in the... More
