We were sorry to see this theater complex close recently, although we weren't surprised, as there never seemed to be anyone there, no matter what time we went.

This is a classic movie theater downtown. It is rarely crowded. The architecture is impressive. Very pretty.

Pros: Location is very convenient if you're already downtown, plenty of open seats and tiered seating provides a good view, cheap matinee and morning prices. Cons: definitely older and not well-maintained. Escalator has been broken for months. Confusion about the ticket line vs. the concession...More

This is an older theater. So don't expect anything to fancy. We were looking forward to a movie but some people in our party didn't feel comfortable sitting in those seats. Like I said it's an older theater. One positive is that it is close...More

Easy to access from Broadway down town, in San Diego. I found this therter's lineup is better than that of usual cinema complex. Sometimes used as a venue of movie festivals.
