We enjoyed the shops and restaurants along this bay side walk having travelled over from Coronado on the ferry. We also passed the maritime exhibits and the USS midway (which is a must to visit). Tourist information is available. Also can see the Sailor Statue.

sitting near downtown San Diego is this pleasant walkway. if you can get away from downtown and move further toward the airport area it'll actually be quieter making this a really pleasant walk.

Lot's to see! Never a dull moment! Old ships, fisherman, USS Midway, shops, restaurants, beautifull sunset!

We were dining at Anthony's Fish Grotto and afterwards we took a stroll along the sidewalk that ran by the bay. There were lots to see and do. The USS Midway, the Russian submarine, the Star of India and so much more to experience!

Entertaining to stroll along the shore and look at the people, exhibits, statues, plaques, etc. Lots of activities and action.

We took the stroll through the bay walk. The smell of the sea and the realness of the navy presence is very special. A must when in town.

This is a walk around the bay. It starts at Seaport Village, continues past the Midway Museum, boat terminals, the Maritime Museum, Shelter and Harbor Islands and on to Point Loma if you're really energetic. Close to downtown and restaurants. My complaint is that it's...More

It was easy to spend a few hours walking the length of the bay - stopping every now and then for the main attractions (which you won’t miss as they are right there on the walk). Worth paying for parking at the northern end -...More

Walking along the bay is a great thing to do, and there are some nice places to eat. Seaport Village offers many shops in which to stroll. Although the walk itself isn't quite as expansive as some expect it to be, it is well worth...More

Tough to answer such a general question. It truly depends on what you like. Also the purpose of the visit may predetermine the locale. Generally speaking you cannot go wrong with Glasslamp district hotels. You will be where... More
