I truly enjoyed the quickie tour. And what I mean by quickie is because we didin't sign up to take the 40 min. tour due to a tight schedule we were in. But I learned the most important points our guides was telling us of...More

I kind of vaguely knew this story but it was fun to have it refreshed in my memory, not to mention hearing specific stories of real people.

Good free family activity. Well done tour, however tour guides (female missionaries) lacked enthusiasm. Tour took about 40 minutes. Cool temperature indoors. Friendly older staff. No pressure about religion. Would recommend this site when touring historical areas. Off main square about 1 block.

You do not have to be of the Mormon faith to visit here. They tell the story of the Mormon battalion (from their Point of view) in a very creative way - with videos, interactive settings and you get to pan for gold and pump...More

Even though I've been to Old Town several times, I have never ventured in to the Mormon Battalion Site. This past weekend we went in for a visit, they must have known we were not Mormon but treated us very kindly. The tour is well...More

This museum has a very interesting story to tell and it is done very well through virtual reality as you move from room to room. You are accompanied by two guides/volunteers, and although the humour can be a bit cheesey at times and there are...More
