I enjoy visiting cemeteries doing genealogy, and this one is of interest also. In the fall the trees are amazing. Last fall wasn't the best but even schools sometimes use the fall colors for portraits. Its a nice place to drive and we drove my mother-in-law through it, its nice since she has limited mobility yet she can still enjoy... More

Strolling in this beautiful cemetery on days of the seasons, experience Gods true colors. We enjoy the peace and beauty of this place and it has become our yearly adventure to see the true colors of Spring and Fall. It is a must see place words could never describe.

I think it's weird to visit a cemetery unless you are visiting the graves of dead relatives. It is a pretty enough place, sure, but there are a lot of those. It's weird to take family pictures here too. It might just be me. I don't get it.

I visited Maplewood in mid-October when the leaves were just starting to turn their majestic fall colors. There were the yellows, oranges and reds that you expect to see in mid-fall, but the cycle of change was just beginning. It appeared to my wife and I that the last week of October and the first two weeks of November were... More

This cemetery is the largest in the city limits. I visit this cemetery regularly through out the year. The beautiful colors in the fall can leave you speechless. Nature does all of the talking as the sun raises and beams across the maple grove. The acreage is best viewed from across town on the opposite hill. It looks like the... More

I grew up in Harrison, AR and have family members and friends buried in the beautiful cemetery. I often took my elderly grandmother to walk around and just look at the tombstones. During the holiday season there are hundreds of small brown bags with little candles at each grave. Driving through Maplewood and drinking hot chocolate and coffee, priceless! The... More

Although odd, a beautiful, peaceful place to visit. Charming tombstones, but fall is the best time to go. Beautiful maple trees are dazzling to behold

Quiet, serene, beautiful anytime...but especially in fall! Ask anyone in the town of Harrison where to see fall at it's best and I would predict they will tell you Maplewood.
