Just saw Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Ordered tickets on line, very easy. Inexpensive. Small, intimate theater, not a bad seat in the place. On street parking in front of theater. The show was excellent, and well attended. No long lines to get in, to get refreshments, or the restrooms. We had a wonderful time and look forward to... More

We were lucky to be in town on a night of a performance, and we enjoyed it very much. The theater itself is something to see with murals painted by hobos in the 30's

This is also a neat place on Sunday afternoons, it is a dollar and the food is real cheap here also. I love old history buildings and things to do back in the day..

This vintage theater has been brought back to life. If you have not had a chance to visit, you should. You will be delighted. It has once again become the center of the community.

Saved by the Art League and upgrades done as money is available. We love to go to plays and they host the High School Jazz Band concerts. So glad we have a place like this to attend. They also host local bands around our area. A must go to, even if it’s for sightseeing.

I have seen several plays here and enjoyed the old time theater atmosphere each time. The accoustics are OK, It is a very old building that hs been re-furbished.

It is a wonderful thing when a community joins together to save a bit of history from the wrecking ball. The Lyric Theater is a prime example of what can be achieved. There is so much pride in this little gem. On a recent tour we were astounded to hear the story of the wall murals which were revealed to... More

I loved the show by Cody Slaughter, but it was so hot in there you could hardly stand it. I don't know how Cody was able to do such a great show in that heat.

Growing up in this area, you can recall the Lyric Theater and all the good times. With several things happening there now, these good times can once again become part of my child's memory.

For a small town, this local theater is hoppin'. Whether it's local folks in a production of "The Sound of Music" or "Sweeney Todd" or a talented musical group or a good movie in an old theater, this place is worth a stop. I have been to several events, and have always been pleased. The architecture is lovely and the... More
