Stopped by to see these on a rainy day camping at buffalo point. Caves were interesting but the group we toured with was really large-around 30 people- so it was hard to hear the guide at times and hard to see what he was pointing out with his flashlight. Caves were interesting though.

I am sorry that you got on such a large tour. Rainy days tend to bring large numbers of people in at once. More

We had a small group for one of the caves the curator was very knowledgeable. Beautiful cave. The 2nd cave unfortunately had a large group of junior high kids. ...it was too crowded and not as enjoyable.

This was the first time we took our children on a cave tour and I think it was a great first one. There are two caves to tour on this property and one is dead and the other still living. I think it was great for our kids to see the difference and how important it is to respect our... More

These caverns were very interesting. I have been to quite a few caverns and these are good in comparison to others. The walkway though the caverns is steady, but there are some steep steps. Also there are places were you have to crouch pretty low. I'm just putting it out there if to have any mobility issues. The tour took... More

Pretty caves with gorgeous displays. Little bit of a steep climb for the dome tour but worth it for the pristine condition.

We wanted to get away from the city atmosphere of Branson for a day trip. Mystic Caverns was a nice drive just an hour south from Branson. Nice place to visit to learn a little about "moonshing" days long ago! :). A few steps to walk, but not too difficult to manage. One of the easier caves to visit for... More

We arrived early and got a personal tour since it was a rainy day and we were their first visitors. John was an excellent tour guide, very friendly, informative and patient with my taking longer on the stairs than I would have taken 20 years ago!

There are two days in the place. We only visited the small cave. The price was $30 for 3 people. The smaller kids have been used during prohibition to make alcohol. So there was a lot of smoke damage to it. It was a very interesting cave and very pretty. The only reason that I am giving this a lower... More

This is a nice quick stop. If you are interested in some beautiful caves of the Ozarks this is one you should hit for a quick getaway.
