Very secluded - the road we took was 6 miles on dirt and gravel but worth it! Clear water, few people - could not go down the river as water was too low. Even the dogs loved it. Recommende for nature lovers!

Love this part of the river. We're headed to Tyler Bend tomorrow to see another part of the river. Glad they didn't damn it up!

This is the only National River park in the United States, as pristine as it was 70 years ago. Come see it and swim in the crystal clear water while it's still protected!

Hi years ago (30) with our little ones & friends we made many trips to buffalo point out of Harrison. Or Yellville? There were cabins & a restaurant on the bluff that had the most amazing breakfast. I thought it was a national park is it still there ?

You can do it yourself or through canoe rental. Most rental prefer reservations because it is hard to predict otherwise.

Lots of places. Go online and look up Buffalo River Outfitters or Wild Bills - it really depends on what the river level is. The prettiest floats are Ponca to the Pruitt area - but it's sometimes low in the summer since that... More
