The tour is short and informative - pretty entertaining. The fact they preserved the old facilities is very cool

We took the subway from our hotel. Interesting tour, fun and friendly tour guides, good tasting and tap room. Highly recommended.

This tour was very much worth the stop. Showed up and got right into the next tour. Did a little taste testing quiz before the tour which was very cool. We had a really good tour guide that made it a lot of fun! After...More

Had a good time at the beer tasting at Sam Adams. We arrived on a Monday around noon. Went to the on campus (but not part of the brewery) cafe for lunch and then to the brewery tour. Sean was our "guide" for our group...More

I've been to the Sam Adams brewery a few times and I am impressed with the improvements. They have added a tap room and beer garden. The disappointing part, no mention of Doyle's, a local restaurant/bar. If you bring your ticket from the tour to...More

We went to the Sam Adams brewery on the paid 'Beyond the Brewhouse' tour. We received the standard tour of the brewhouse and learnt a little about how the beer is made. The group was a good size (12-15 ish) with two guides. We were...More

The earlier the better for tours! We had a great tour guide and this was better than most! They teach you about the process in a different more engaging way! They offered us 3 Tastings after with regular lager and one you can’t get anywhere...More

First of all I would say that this is free! so, I am reviewing my experience with that in mind. I visited the brewery in September 18. The tour was OK. It was pretty short and actually meant looking at some beer ingredients in what...More

Expected a positive experience as my husband and I are big fans of Sam Adams beer. However the tour guide talked so fast he was barely intelligible. When I asked if he could slow it down as I was having a hard time keeping up...More

This Boston neighborhood feels like a distinct
community unique and separate from the bustle of other
areas. Beautiful Victorian homes, restaurants with an
emphasis on being eco-friendly and providing local and
organic food, and a large Hispanic community. Visit
Centre and South streets for restaurants, cafes, and
little shops. The Arnold Arboretum is a beautiful,
large green space well worth a visit if you venture to

I don't remember any part of the tour being loud. It's really a very short tour - you only go in to 2 or 3 different rooms. I would not have a problem bringing a 10-month old on this tour!

Hi, we didn't order tickets in advance and had no problem. Not sure though if you are going around the 4th of July, its a pretty busy time in Boston. I would order ahead if that is the case.
