This location has a lot of history. From the British government up through the Boston massacre and thereafter. We had a tour guide and this was a stop on our Freedom Trail tour so he was able to fill in a lot of the information...More

Very neat the see this historic place in American history. Was not open when walking from the hotel to a couple different bars. But was still able to stop and read the signs.

As we understand it from our guide on the Freedom Trail Tour the actual spot is believed to me in the middle of this road junction but "common sense" put it in the pavement instead. As some people have already commented, this is difficult to...More

A location on the Freedom Trail. Provides a place to reflect on the beginnings of our county. This is a busy intersection so be prepared for crowds.

Located right outside the Old State House. Be sure not to miss it as the marker is on the ground next to the street.

Boston Massacre site is located just in front of the State House building, and there a marker on the ground pointing this site. So have to pay attention when passing in front of State House building, otherwise you might skip it. I think there needs...More

We visited this site but the brochures are pretty bland about the significance of the place. Either know your history or get a tour to describe this site.

Don't miss this - it's on the ground! No fee. Spend a couple of minutes here! So, if you had a good history teacher, you know that the "massacre" was more propaganda than a real "massacre" by definition. We spent a lot of time talking...More

A little underwhelming for such a historic event. I walked right past it into the Old Meeting House. Thankfully in the Old Meeting House they highlight the Boston Massacre Site and you can see it from a balcony window.
