We followed the freedom trail up to bunker hill and delighted to find you could climb to the top. It’s a long walk up and gets hot in there. It’s worth the walk and the views of Boston are delightful.

I went up into the monument. 294 steps to the top. You should probably be in shape to do it. If it's really warm, might not want to do it either. Not much air till the top.

The 280+ steps to the top are a nice workout. Views from top are excellent!! Rangers on site to answer questions. No fees.

This area id incredibly pretty, and Bunker Hill is the sight of the first major battle of the Revolutionary War. There's the Bunker Hill Monument that's worth climbing to the top, as well as a museum that I felt was only worth a few minutes.

The area around Bunker Hill and the Hill itself comprise a lot of historic interest quite apart from the monument and museum. It's an area that deserves a little time as you wander around and take in the history of the location and it's past....More

A must do climb. 294 steps to the top - go early in the morning to avoid crowds and heat. They will close the climb if it gets too hot. Part of the freedom trail. The museum is across the street. Suggested they have climbing...More
