About
Hallowed ground to baseball fans, this century-old ballpark is the home field of the Boston Red Sox. Fans often flock to Fenway Park to catch a game over beer and hot dogs—the game season typically runs from April through October. You might want to stay till at least the eighth inning to sing “Sweet Caroline” with the crowd. The stadium is also home to the iconic Green Monster wall, a 37-foot-tall left-field wall. Apart from games, you can join a year-round guided tour of the stadium to learn about the history of the sport and the team, as well as get a behind-the-scenes peek into the locker room. – Tripadvisor

The jewel ballpark in baseball's crown!
I finally got to take my son here for a game recently. The game got suspended about half-way through because of mother nature but not much you can do about that. This ballpark is the jewel of all major league ballparks. Yes, you can moan about the seating, the expensive beer and food and all of that but this ballpark is special. We sat in grandstand seats on the first-base side. The view was pretty good. The feel, look and atmosphere of the park though is everything that makes baseball America's national pastime. I've been a Red Sox fan since I was a teenager (Tennessee boy and Cubs are still my second favourite team) and the Red Sox fans are an integral part of the Fenway experience too. This is one of those places where you can feel the history. This park is definitely part of the spirit of Boston and they can rightly be proud of it. Every baseball fan should experience at least one game here. I can't wait to go back.

    Great time!
Such a fun way to spend an evening in Boston! The fans are great, the stadium is a step back in time, and the atmosphere is so fun. The seats aren't the most comfortable, but its an old stadium, so what do you expect? So fun!

Beautiful stadium PACKED with energy from fans!
Fenway park is a beautiful stadium with lots of energy to bring for a baseball game! It's convenient location allows for easy access to bars, restaurants, and souvenir shops. Be wary of your time though, depending on how late you get there to go to the bars and restaurants it can be a long wait. Be sure to make a reservation or get there early to enjoy the pregame life!

One of the best MLB parks, a must visit
Great atmosphere to take in a Boston Red Sox game. Very easy to get into. Take the train there as driving is terrible. Great site lines. If you are tall some seats might be uncomfortable.

    Next Level Ballpark
Fenway is next level mixing the old with the new. The park is legendary and I felt it with all of the people there. The Fenway Franks were delicious and I got to see my team, Atlanta Braves, play the Red Sox. Great night!!

    Great Old Ballpark
Visiting Fenway is essential for any baseball fan, even those with only a casual interest in the game. The positives: Fans are on top of the field, and it is a quirky place for a game to be played. The negatives are substantial too, as it is small and crowded, there is little leg room, the food is mediocre and expensive, and the beer is also expensive. Having said all of that, this remains a great and fun place to watch a game. Get tickets and go!

Another bucket list item checked off
There is nothing better than being at one of the most iconic ballparks in the US on a gorgeous summer afternoon watching your favorite team play ( the Tigers for me ). Even better, they won today. Words don’t do the place justice. For me, it was awesome, impressive and what ever other superlative you can think of. By sheer luck, we were able to gain access inside the stadium about 30 minutes before everyone else which is 90 minutes before game time. We were able to stand in the bleachers by the bull pen, then move around the stadium popping up right by the Red Sox dugout during batting practice. We moved over to our seats along the left field line and walked down to the rail and watched the Tigers BP. The 8th inning rendition of Sweet Caroline was surreal. 30,000 people singing in unison gave me goosebumps. Once in a lifetime opportunity for me and my family.

    Great experience!
I actually went in July 2022 but forgot to post a review, so I had to click September 2022 because it won't go back any further. My best friend and I had a great time visiting Fenway. We're used to historic ballparks thanks to our beloved Wrigley Field in Chicago, so we felt quite at home at Fenway. A lovely staff member learned it was our first game there, and she gave us a quick "mini" tour and shared great info with us and even gave us "first game" pins. The old seats were very uncomfortable, but the atmosphere sure made up for it. We had a rain delay, but it was actually quite a fun and enjoyable time during it. They know how to party during the rain! The area around Fenway reminded us of our own Wrigelyville area; lots of opportunities for food and shopping.

    Historical legacy
Plan your visit in advance to secure tickets, especially during high-demand games or the baseball season. Consider attending a day game to experience the park's charm in natural sunlight. Arriving early allows you to soak in the pre-game atmosphere and explore the Yawkey Way concourse, lined with souvenir shops and local food vendors. Driving to Fenway Park can be challenging due to limited parking options. Public transportation is highly recommended. The closest subway station is Kenmore Square, reachable via the Green B, C, or D lines. Alternatively, you can use rideshare services or walk if you're staying nearby.

    Loved this tour!
There was so much history in this historic ballpark! It is a must for a baseball lover and true fan. The guide was great and kept the visitors interested. We loved sitting in the original seats and hearing the history as well as the press-box and iconic Green Monster!

One of my best trips to Fenway yet, The Red Sox ended up winning 6-4 in 13 innings with a walk off home run by Christian Vasquez. The food and drinks are pretty expensive but you can get good tickets for a fair price ($60-136 for decent seats.)
If you go to a game in the fall or winter make sure to bring a few layers so you don’t get to cold. Go Sox!

I have been to lot of of baseball games across the country, and Fenway Park is my favorite. The oldest existing MLB stadium and it has so much charm. It actually doesn’t feel big…. feels warm and homey.

We stayed just west of Copley Square and it was a quick 20 minute walk to the park……. I love how I didn’t have to Uber, take light rail, or drive. There are a ton of restaurants surrounding the park, which creates a fun party scene. We went to an evening game against the Yankees with young kids and felt very safe. Lines went quickly. Our seats were comfortable (there are some that are small/tight). Food inside the park is expensive.

One negative, is there isn’t a huge variety of food options in the park. Plus, it’s expensive. I recommend you eat before or after the game in one of the restaurants across the street from the park.

Some seat are can be problematic….. strongly recommend doing a quick google search on which seats to avoid.

And of course, one of our highlights was singing Sweet Caroline….. everyone was so into it.

What kind of baseball fan doesn't visit a shrine like this. I am not a Red Sox fan but I can appreciate a throwback park. The stadium is not like the new ones which are built today but who the heck wants new? I want history, charm and no better place to get this than visiting Fenway. My first visit but not my last. Our seats were by the Penske Pole so to catch the action our neck was turned for the whole time but who cares it was fun. The concession stands were average but what the heck you are at a ball park, eat ball park food.
By the way, the fans in attendance were fun to engage with, it was fun to be able to check off another stadium from the bucket list of fan things to do and visit.

Fenway Park has a lot of history behind it. While we did not attend a game at Fenway, we did take an organized tour of the Park. It opened in 1912 and is the oldest active ballpark in the United States. The one-hour tour took us to the press area, the "monster seats" and many other areas of the ballpark. Our tour guide did an excellent job of explaining the history of the Park and the use of the Park for concerts, hockey, football, etc. over the years.

In addition to the tour, I recommend you visit the Red Sox store right across the street from the park. It is the largest souvenir store I've ever seen and covers an entire block. Red Sox memorabilia galore!!

I highly recommend a tour of Fenway Park if you visit Boston. Due to the scarcity of tickets available to see a game, this tour may be the only way you will ever see the park up clase as well as learn about its history.

Unless you hate baseball I can't imagine not enjoying seeing a game here - it's such a classic ballpark. As other users have noted, however, the seats are quite pricey compared to other parks but that's to be expected. I'd definitely recommend it for those who even remotely enjoy baseball.

I love the fact that Fenway is located in Downtown Boston - an easy walk from anywhere in the City. Fenway is more than a ballpark, it is a destination. With the opening of TimeOut in the neighborhood, you can now eat at a 5 Start restaurant before or after the game!

I had visited Fenway Park on a tour when I was young, but now finally made it back for a game with my son. We lucked out and saw that Green Monster seats were available from the Red Sox directly. They were still some of the more expensive seats in the building, but much much cheaper than what they were selling for in the secondary market. So we splurged, and I'm happy that we did. It's truly a unique experience to watch a game from up there.

It was an easy walk from the Back Bay neighborhood where we were staying.

My only caveat with the Green Monster seats is that unless you're seated in the front row, then the viewing experience may not be ideal. Our seats were in the front.

As a baseball fan, it's a must do experience. My son has a lifelong goal of seeing a game at all 30 stadiums. Out of the 7 he's hit so far, this one ranks #1.

We visited this stadium and we knew it has history like no other and had heard you are always guaranteed fun and action when you come to a ballgame at Fenway Park. The food is quite tasty and available at each and every corner you make. The prices are very reasonable but the thing that sticks out the most is the superior service from all the staff. Such a good team. Excellent job to everyone and a special thanks to the management for running such a well oiled machine. Why can’t all stadiums be like this?

I'm from the UK (in my 70s) and my wife and I are soon to visit the US on holiday. As such, I tried to book tickets for a game at Fenway Park online (the only way you can obtain tickets). As the online system is different to any I've used before, I made the mistake of booking two sets (of two) tickets for the same game against the Blue Jays. However, I then found the booking system absolutely refuses to help in such situations (e.g. by allowing us to exchange the mispurchased tickets for ones for the game the following day or day after). Instead the system offers the following blunt statement: "all sales are final-there are no refunds or exchanges issued on any tickets". So I now have two tickets I have absolutely no use for at all (costing sbout £100). Moreover, given it's a Monday game I have little chance of getting much for them monetarily on websites devoted to selling such unwanted tickets. What a difference to life here in the UK, for when I recently made an error in booking my soccer season ticket online (ordering an e-tcket instead of a physical card) I simply called them and they corrected the error immediately. Having been to baseball in Boston previously I doubt we'll go again. Shame really.

We are on a quest to see a game in every ballpark. We had tickets for a night game but went over in the early afternoon to walk around the park so we could take in the statues and ambiance without a big crowd. My son said the seats in the park were uncomfortable and I reminded him they were made at a time when people were smaller (height and especially weight). This a must see if you are a fan of the game.
