I just hate to give the Berry Farm a poor review. It's a marvelous bakery. My review is based on a recent visit during the Thanksgiving break. The gist of it is that we waited 6 hours in line under a scorching sun. 6 hours! We got there and parked at 8am and left right around 2:15pm. It was pure and unadulterated misery. Phone orders? I called. Nah, not for their signature product, cinnamon rolls. This is not for the fainthearted. There were very elderly people in line, octogenarians; many left after a couple of hours under the sun. A few folks in front of me a pregnant woman was feeling dizzy and had to go take a break in the AC of her car. I'm surprised the emergency services didnt show up at some point. And it's absurd; it just isnt necessary. There are many options at the farm's disposal, including on line sales and timed entry tickets. They can even have separate lines (small vs large sales for instance). I will never do this again, no matter the number of promised I've made to get the products. It's just abuse, borderline mercenary.

We came for the shakes in order to compare them with Robert Is Here. Knaus Berry Farm is just not as good. They use a soft-serve base for their shakes and offer less in the way of fruit options. It was good, but it wasn't as good. Note that the shake counter is cash only.

But if you want the fruit stand or the baked goods, be prepared to wait well over an hour. There is a separate line for shakes, so we did not need to wait. But if you wanted fruit, or cinnamon rolls or pies, then the wait was outrageously long.

The ice cream is good, but I not think that they have to charge in order to enter and buy ice cream, last time I when which was October 2021 I only wanted to buy the ice cream, not take pictures with the decorations..that's why I'm rating as low..I'll suggest that if they want to keep local people , like me going and enjoy their food , at least make a drive thru spot so we can enjoy it..thanks..I really need to write this

I've lived in South Florida for a long time and many things have changed, and not all for the better. One thing that hasn't changed is driving out to Knaus Berry Farm and getting some deliciously decadent cinnamon rolls for the family. You have to time it right because there are days when the line is all the way out to 248th Street. The rolls are like always, warm and fresh and waiting to be devoured. But don't forget about the fresh baked breads and ridiculously good herb rolls. They also do pies, their own coffee, and fresh vegetables and strawberries. You can even get some pretty good milk shakes too. Forget the diet for one day. You owe it to yourself!

Best Berries, baked goods, fruits, veggies and herbs. Shakes and Ice Cream are second to none. Bring patience because the lines are long, but well worth it. I would make it a Land Mark. Thank you to all the Knaus family and friendly employees.

I’ll start by saying that all of their baking is excellent. Their ice creams are wonderful. You can taste that their toppings are freshly made. The downside is their lines. They’re sooooo good that long lines are the order of the day. Be prepared to spend an hour plus on the line, but the cinnamon rolls are worth the wait. They also don’t open on Sundays so keep that in mind when you plan your visit here. Strawberries are awesome too.

Excellent as always! Went down this morning and arrived around 8:00am.and left with my cinnamon rolls and my herb rolls and a load of dilly bread around 8:50am. My family was thrilled with my surprise! I was thrilled to see that so.e good things stay the same!
REMEMBER: they only take cash and there are no cash machines anywhere close by.

After living next to this place for nearly 3 decades I thought it was time to leave a review. A verrrry thoughtful review. Consider me a local giving all you tourist an insiders perspective on the reality of this place. Whoever thinks this place is all the world has even seen is blinded. I will be honest though whoever leaves a 1 or 2 star bad review on the food or shakes or cinnamon rolls on this place is definitely alienated from the world or clearly this is not their style of food or they need to see a doctor to check their taste buds. I've tried cinnamon roles all over the U.S. and these are totally not what you expect. Yes they are unique. They have no icing. They are just bread and cinnamon dripping in warm hot melted caramelized (not caramel) cinnamon sugar which drench these rolls to melt in your mouth. The only bad part is......after buying them for nearly three decades and living 2 streets down from this place and never growing old from these cinnamon roles...EVER....YOU HAVE TO EAT THEM FRESH !! One week later and they DO NOT taste the same. They become dry and dull and taste almost like a dried up dehydrated piece of rolled up bread. BACK TO THE POINT....as a local for nearly three decades and now relocated elsewhere, people hate this place because it has always been sooooo outdated and they need to fix the long line. It gets longer and longer every year and this place has done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to update with the times. Hundreds of people a day and thousands a week and they are only OPEN for part of the fall season so everyone and their families tailgate on weekends and make it a day trip from Miami or nearby MAJOR cities to wait the line which is fine and understandable. But there is no need for this place to be so outdated. This line can stretch long and I mean LOOOONG in the hot sunny or wet Florida weather with no where to stand but outside....people literally are starting to camp and bring beach chairs and umberalas to stand in line for nearly 2-3 hours just for a box of cinnamon roles or even just for a simple little carton of veggies and fruits. Even for a shake i've waited almost an hour. Hundreds outside wait all while 3 registers are slowly patiently taking the orders and they do not do the job fast enough because they honestly don't care. Everything is CASH ONLY. So this makes the wait longer because they count change and give it back and the entire process takes longer. Plus people aren't very well with math now or cash or both and sometimes have to count the most amount of items they can take without going over the amount of money they have in cash which has even happened to me because not everyone has an atm nearby when they want to get something from here and it's a dam amish farm in the middle of homestead farming redlands, there aren't many atms nearby....so this makes it even less convenient and more of a pain in the a**. Seriously we are in 2021 and there's even crpyto currency but these people choose to take cash ONLY....how stubborn could you be from a business perspective people come from miles and from other states to come here and it's already bad enough we have to wait hours in a long line and hope the weather is okay that day...There's thousands of customers that would probably purchase waaaaaaaayyy more items when they know they have less limitations using their debit card... After moving from Florida I've ordered their cinnamon buns online on Goldbelly.com, they ship decently fast during the early season, prices are more expensive, and the only upside is I can actually use a card to pay..?? Wow that wasn't too hard Knaus Berry? Or Gold belly shall I say. But it has sometimes taken up to a month of shipping during the late season...yes A MONTH !!. SO if you order from them online guess
what? Yup they do not taste the same. They taste dry and gummy and horrible. Nowhere near the taste of when you get them from the location. These are definitely cinnamon buns that are made 2 days before they even ship and by the time you receive them it's been a full week of the cinnamon rolls drying and dieing while transiting in the box from Florida to wherever you are around the US. So take this advice from a real homestead local that this place is not as good as it sounds. Whoever makes this place sound like it's the entrance to heaven either just discovered the cinnamon roles or has not waited long enough in line to realize they can run out of stuff before you even get to the front entrance...just let experience teach these amateurs and maybe one day they will realize KNAUS BERRY NEEDS AN UPDATE !!!

The cinnamon rolls lived up to the hype. We bought a dozen which seemed like too much, but by the end of the day, we wished we had bought more. We bought some bread as well and it was wonderful too. I have no doubt that all of the baked goods are delicious. I really did want to buy one of each item.

I had a milkshake as well. It was good, but it's the cinnamon rolls that are the real stand outs.

Prepare yourself to be addicted to cinnamon rolls and strawberry milkshakes. Knaus Berry Farm has been around for ages and proven to have the best bakery item in town. They grow there own strawberries which are the sweetest and juicest berries you’ve ever tasted! You can also find their milkshake, coffee and ice cream stand next to the bakery.
I’m the back you can opt for pick your own berries and weight for price cost. There is a chickee hit for
eating your food and you can hear everything going on in the bakery.
Parking is always hard as a middle school is acrosss the street making you park along the sides on the street. Get there early (about 6am) to be the first in line or you will be waiting 2-5 hours!
Trust me, it’s worth the drive and your taste buds will thank you!
