The bar was your typical Irish bar with an extra performance area attached. The atmosphere was ok and there is a pretty good selection of beers. Altogether a pleasant place to sit with friends for a beer but one downside was the lady behind the...More

This seems like your average Irish pub (a good thing in my mind). Standard beer selection, nothing too fancy but not totally boring either. The bartender was super entertaining and made the visit for us. It also looks like it could be a good place...More

Enjoyed stopping at this gem after dinner. Female bartender and doorman were very personable, easy to talk to, and down to Earth. Would love to go back if/when we return to SF!

Popped into this bar to have a couple of drinks after having some pizza at the awesome Golden Boy Pizza just around the corner. It was quite quiet up until one guy rolled up very drunk, but it didn't ruin the vibe as we were...More

If you are looking for a real irish pub, don't go there. The decor is not bad but the ambiance is not here. Moreover the bartender (Maggie I guess) was completly drunk and not friendly. There are a lot of better bars nearby..

Drinks were great, fellow customers were friendly, and Patrick from the U.K. was fantastic! I had left my cell phone in a cab, and Patrick was helpful in trying to get it back, while also providing adult beverages. He has a great sense of humor...More

Stopped in for a quick beer before a dinner reservation down the street and were delighted with this place. McGarry's knows how to pour a Guinness. Bartender delightful. We're local and we'll be back.

A local pub, full of character. Open early for soccer games! Great bay windows and a long main bar. Party room next door. Cash only- but they have an atm on site.

I can't comment on what this place is like for night life as I was here at 5am to watch the Premier League football. I found it to be very pleasant though, had a nice chat with Patrick behind the bar who kept me topped...More

The aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans, the sounds
of opera, and the sights of the romantic Italian

neighborhood of North Beach, once the stomping grounds
for the Beatnik Generation. Although parts of North
Beach are known for nightlife that’s not always
suitable for younger visitors, few neighborhoods in
the city exude as much European charm and style.
