Rented bikes for the day to go to the Marin bicycle museum then round the bay & back over the Golden Gate Bridge.
We arrived late for pickup - no problem.
Bikes were good quality, well maintained & we didn’t look like tourists.
What an awesome day rate, from what we've seen bike rentals can run very high. The bike hut is $25 If you pay cash for an ALL day rental. They offer you water and a basket before you take off and give you bike locks....More
I hired a road bike by myself for one day to enjoy cycling around San Fran's many hills and sights.
The bike was nice and well serviced. I was offered sunscreen, water, a map and a puncture repair kit. The guys also had no issue...More
We had an amazing day in SF. Rented two bikes early in the morning. The guys gave us 2 bottles of water, sunscreen and a bike map for free. They adviced us where to go and where not to go.

I chose Bike Hut because of their voluntary mission and great location, but did not expect to get great service, advise and friendly atmosphere! The staff helped me by discussing the route options in detail, selected the best bike for my planned route, and checked...More
Whilst on Business in the city two of us rented bikes from Bike Hut to ride out to Muir Woods. I cannot speak highly enough for all the team at Bike Hut, and the rental is very cheap. We rented 2 road bikes and they...More

The place was recommended to me a few years back and I've been back a few times since. It's a good walk from Ferry Building along the Embarcadero but worth it for the friendly staff (mostly!) and reasonable rates. We looked at hiring bikes near...More
We rented 2 very nice new hipster bikes. The guys gave us a basket for free and 2 bottles of water for free for the journey. We could rent them overnight and bring them back somewhere in the afternoon. So it was 26 $ p.p....More
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized
streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
