No matter what your interests or what kind of group you're traveling with, the Presidio offers a wide range of historic sites, family friendly attractions, great nature trails, a lovely winding road through forest, views of the harbor, city and Golden Gate Bridge.
We visited the Presidio specifically to visit the Walt Disney Family Museum, but afterwards we spent some time just walking around the area. We were there on a Monday, so I think some of the buildings were closed for the day.
