We cycled from Fisherman’s wharf (yes it was long and hilly!) we did it as part of a cycle around the city. Unfortunately it doesn’t look like the original house and to be honest I feel for the residents! Not really worth a visit unless you are a huge filmy or have a car to stop by!

I live in the neighborhood and just can't understand why people would plague the owners of this house over a movie from decades ago. They didn't even film the interior shots here. The new owners have put in a little gate to discourage disrespectful tourists from trespassing on their steps. Please find some other way to honor Robin Williams' memory.

As the title says, for no other reason, we went to the Mrs Doubtfire’s house from the film.
Nothing special as you can imagine, although in a very nice part of the city.

We visited Mrs Doubtfire’s House during our city tour with Dylan’s Tours.
This home of Victorian charm was built in 1893 and in 1993 the movie Mrs Doubtfire was filmed here.
The colour of this home has been changed from the movie and when we visited the garage was open and renovations were occurring.
Great to see the site of this hilarious movie.

We found the Mrs Doubtfire house in Seattle. It is now a different colour than when used in the film, but the same house. The trees outside have tributes to Robin Williams, quite moving.

We rode the street car up California to Van Nuys, then walked the Pacific Heights neighborhood. Beautiful Victorian homes and the “Mrs Doubtfire “ house was very pretty! It was fun seeing it up close!

Since I watched Mrs. Doubtfire, I wanted to visit this place. If you are expecting to see a birthday with the whole zoo(just as the movie scene) you will not. But if one is a fan, one should definetly visit it. Just a normal house, which was turned into a symbol for a whole generation.

We visited here this morning to revisit a childhood favourite! Unfortunately we missed the tributes in the tree outside; so these aren't obvious and require a closer look!
House is currently having work done to it so several workmen around. We were the only ones visiting so was slightly awkward standing on the corner of the street to take a photo!

I always loved the movie and decided to come here as soon as I could when I got to San Francisco. The city is beautiful in the right spots and this sure Is one of them. The house is old and amazingly put together. No one stopped us or bothered us for looking at it and taking pictures. There is a piece of sidewalk with tons of things written to robin Williams. Very sad still about his passing, great place to visit and remind you of all his laughter.

Don't know about gluten free stuff but there was cafes and the odd restaurant in the area. You shouldn't have much problem finding somewhere.
