It has many interesting artifacts. We got the $10 senior ticket for general admission. I don't see that the special exhibits were worth the extra $5. Also, don't bother with the audio guide for $5. It is very inconvenient to use, and the written labels...More

In summary - the older collection here is some of the best I have seen. The contemporary artworks aren't as amazing. I would reccomend this place if you are new to asian art.

We visited this to see the Divine Devotion exhibit, it lived up to its name and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. A docent was there giving an explanation of some of the major exhibits. Definitely worth the price of admission to see such culture. All...More

Civic Center is the seat of power for all things
government and performance-related in the city.
Although its streets are best walked during daytime,
numerous cultural gems are within close proximity to
one another. The symphony, opera, ballet, and jazz
center offer year round entertainment within the
shadow of the city’s Beaux-Arts crown jewel: the gold
tipped dome of City Hall.
