Most visited pier of SFO. There is a lot to do and plenty of food stalls. Souvenirs are quite pricy compared to other places. Follow thestyriantraveller on fb and instagram for more pics.

We loved it here and especially watching the Sea lions. It’s a very busy place with lots to see and do. Plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from.

Visitors flock to Pier 39 so there are lots of shops and places to eat with street entertainment taking place. Some of our party rode the merry-go-round; visited the Left Hand shop and the Gadetronics store.

Interesting attraction but too crowded. Shops, restaurants and some entertainment places. Too crowded even for walking inside.

Totally couldn't see what everyone bangs on about here. It's a large pier and you could maybe eat there if you can afford it but that's about it. They have seals and sea lions which are cool but overall it's just grotty and commercial.

What's not to like about pier39. It's the ultimate tourist activity. Located on the Bayfront it offers views of the seals that you should check out as well as plenty of shops that are very unique and some nice restaurants. They also have the San...More

You can just visit the pier, no booking a trip is required. Alcatraz requires reservations.

Yes. The ground level has ramps. The stores, eateries and of course the famous sea lion area are all accessible by wheelchair. There is an upper level - I'm not positive about elevators. Even so there is plenty to see on... More
