We used the trail to walk from Sand Beach to Otter Cliffs. Very ease path, wonderful scenery, places to play on the rocks and climb and search out tide pools at low tide.

Morning, noon or night --this is the place to walk away from the downtown hustle. The views are great--you get to see how the really rich live.

If you do only one trail at Acadia NP, this is the one. It's a friendly path - mostly level and easy to walk, but there are numerous side paths to take to the rocks' edge and enjoy the incredible views and scramble among the...More

The Bar Harbor ocean walk is a nice little afternoon walk to take after having some lunch grabbing an iced coffee and just getting a great view of the coast line. The trail path continues on forever so you can backpack it from somewhere like...More

Fresh air, good exercise and beautiful scenery. The Maine coastline is so pretty. We were there in the summer so it can get busy. If we come again we'd like to try September. Don't forget your camera.

We started at Sand Beach and then made our way to the Ocean Trail path. It was an easy walk for our family, with a lot of great views and places to stop and look in tide pools. Highly recommend this hike!

It's a long path and most of it is essentially the sidewalk of the park loop road. I recommend to walk a short section near the sand beach and walk down to the shore in a few spots to get a taste. Then just drive...More

Dogs on leash are allowed. The path is narrow but flat so depending on the size of the scooter, it may be able to fit. The issue is the curb to get onto the path and the access from Sand Beach has steps. I believe there is a... More

The trail itself is flat and easy for anybody. The parts that jut off toward ocean are uneven and rocky but the views are just as beautiful from the trail. You can also drive to any part of this trail and park in right... More
